The pendant features a stunning Geode Slice of breath-taking Agate, thoughtfully topped with two tabletop cut Blue Topaz stones; a small square and a teardrop. A hand worked Sterling Silver 'ribbon' detailing, wraps and twists elegantly around the Agate and follows above. To finish off the design, an additional small, oval tabletop cut Blue Topaz stone sits underneath a chunky bale, completing this unique piece.
The workmanship involved to highlight the beautiful stones in this pendant is incredible.

About the stones
Sliced Agate
Agate is a common rock formation that primarily consists of cryptocrystalline Silica (mostly Chalcedony) alternating with micro granular Quartz. It was given its name by Greek Philosopher Theophrastus, who discovered the stone along the river Achates (now known as the Dirillo) in Sicily, sometime between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC.
Like other black minerals, Black Agate is a stone of protection and strength. It connects with the Root Chakra, making it a very grounding stone that keeps the body connected to the Earths energies to aid in soothing emotions, alleviating feelings of stress and worry, reducing fears and anxieties and instilling sense of peace.
It is also seen as the ‘stone of change’ and those aforementioned properties, along with its aid in promoting self love, inner strength and calm, make it a perfect stone to accompany you during hard times and when you embark on new beginnings.
Druzy is the name for the small Quartz crystal formations that grow, oftentimes, in the hollow cavity of Agate geodes, and this Druzy Quartz also aids in eliminating stresses and anxiety, and balances the emotions.
Blue Topaz
Blue Topaz is the Birthstone for November.
Blue Topaz has been used in jewellery for over 2000 years. It was once believed that Topaz would protect the wearer from dark magic. In the 12th century Saint Hildegard, a German nun, believed that Blue Topaz could cure blindness by soaking the stone in wine for 3 days and then rubbing it gently on the eyes.
Blue Topaz is a calming stone. It is thought to help with communication, creativity and the ability to express yourself. Great for writers block and to aid with public speaking. It is also thought to help with decision making, promotes concentration and helps recognize truth and wisdom.
