About the stone
Rose Quartz is the horoscope stone for Taurus and is famously known as the Stone of Unconditional Love.
Stone masks made out of Rose Quartz were recovered from Egyptian and Roman tombs. It was believed that wearing these stone masks would clear the complexion and remove wrinkles from the skin.
According to legend, the stone was created when the Greek God Adonis was assaulted by the God of War, Ares. Goddess Aphrodite cut herself on a briar bush while rushing to save him. Their mingled blood collected on the white quartz stone and stained it a blushing pink creating Rose Quartz.
Rose Quartz is believed to draw love and relationships towards you. In existing relationships, it’s believed to restore trust and encourage unconditional love. It’s also known as a highly healing stone and gently removes negative energies and replaces them with loving vibes.
