This bracelet features seven cabochon, Onyx stones in simple settings; four teardrop, two small rectangle and one larger rectangle at the center of the bracelet. In between the Onyx stones are ten tabletop cut, rectangle Amethyst stones in simple settings. All stones have been joined by simple hinges, hand crafted in Sterling Silver, creating a fluid and comfortable bracelet. An elegant statement piece, this bracelet will give any outfit that added 'wow' factor.
With a T-bar fastening, this bracelet can be adjusted to fit wrist sizes 7.5"-8.5". T-bar bracelets are great as they are easy to take on and off by yourself, but must always be worn quite tightly around the wrist to avoid loosing them.

About the stones
Onyx
Onyx is one of the birthstones for Leo and is the traditional 7th anniversary gemstone.
The name comes from the Greek word ‘onyx’ which means nail of a finger or claw. Legend tells the story of how one day Cupid cut the divine fingernails of Venus while she was sleeping and left the clippings scattered on the ground. Because no part of a heavenly body can die, the gods turned them into stone which later became known as onyx.
In India, Hindus use onyx to ward off the ‘evil eye’ while in the Middle East, onyx is used as a worry stone that people rub between fingers.
Onyx is believed to be strength-giving. It provides support in difficult circumstances and during times of mental or physical stress. It promotes vigor, steadfastness and stamina. Onyx imparts self-control and is a mental tonic that alleviates overwhelming fears and worries.
Amethyst
Amethyst is the Birthstone for February and also the Horoscope stone for Pisces.
Amethyst comes from the Greek word “amethystos” translated as “not drunken” as it was believed to be a strong antidote for drunkenness. Wine goblets were often carved from the stone.
In the English Middle Ages, it was considered a symbol of royalty and used to decorate English regalia. Until the 18th century it was one of the most valuable stones along with diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald.
Amethyst is thought of as a protective stone and helps purify the mind and clear negative thoughts. It also helps with stress and anxiety and is a very calming stone.
