Delivery and Returns
We always aim to dispatch your order within one working day, unless specified your order will be sent via Royal mail 1st class on all standard deliveries.
The Royal Mail deliver on most days of the year, including Saturdays. However, they don’t usually deliver on bank and public holidays.

UK delivery service (Estimated delivery time and Cost)
Express Next Day Delivery (order must be placed before 2pm): 1 day, £6.85
(order must be placed before 2pm on a Friday)
International delivery: £8.95
We use Royal Mail’s ‘International Airsure’ service. For countries where Airsure is not available, we use the Royal Mail’s ‘International Signed For’ service. This service requires a signature on delivery.
The Royal Mail aim to deliver packages sent using ‘International Airsure’ or ‘Signed For’ services within 3-5 working days, but it may take up to 20 days for delivery to Europe and up to 30 days for the rest of the world (ROW).
For international orders, Silver Scene cannot be held responsible for any delays caused during destination customs clearance process.
Late and lost deliveries
If your delivery has been delayed for more than 7 days (10 days for international items), please contact us and we will assist with tracking the package. Often, a delivery attempt has been made but a card has not been left.
We cannot refund or replace lost items until 15 working days after the date of dispatch (25 days for international items) as this is when Royal Mail considers items lost.
For international items, the package is handled by more than one postal service. We cannot guarantee delivery times as this is the responsibility of the destination postal service. Delays are possible due to customs clearance – this can take up to 2 weeks.
We always recommend you use a secure delivery address.
We do check all items carefully prior to dispatch. In the unlikely event you have received an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt by email and tell us the reason for the return. Please return within 14 days.
The cost of return postage shall be borne by you – and we recommend all returns and exchanges are sent by a recorded service.
How to pack returns
It is very important that all items returned to the company are packaged appropriately. Please do let us know if you are returning your order by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, the dispatch note received with your order has a return address label for your use. Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them and with the original packaging accompanied by the order form (please keep a copy for your reference).
Goods are returned entirely at the sender’s risk. Silver Scene cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss sustained in transit, however caused. We will acknowledge receipt of the package to you via email.

Card refunds may take up to 10 working days for your bank to complete. Silver Scene accepts no liability to how long particular banks take to process cards.
Customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. You may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
You are legally entitled to cancel any ‘Home Shopping’ order within 14 working days of receipt of the product and return it for a full refund. This does not apply to orders that have been discounted or items purchased in sales or special promotions.
