About the stone
Amber is fossilised tree resin, often containing tiny inclusions, and is mostly found along the Baltic coast. Aged 35–50 million years, it has been used in jewellery since the Stone Age and was once valued by Vikings as “Baltic gold,” even used as currency.
Believed to be a natural purifier, Amber is said to absorb negative energy, support healing, boost vitality, and offer protection. It’s also associated with love, good luck, and is linked to the sun and the Leo zodiac sign.

Please be aware that Amber stones are generally glued in to their settings and therefore it is advisable to take off any Amber jewellery when showering or bathing as the water may perish the glue. Furthermore, Amber is an organic material, so please be aware that perfumes, lotions, soaps, hand sanitisers etc can damage Amber.
