About the stone
Smoky Quartz is a beautiful translucent variety of Quartz, ranging from pale smoky grey to deep brown. It is the national gemstone of Scotland and has been treasured there for centuries, with its history dating back to the Druids.
Smoky Quartz is the horoscope stone for Libra and Capricorn and is traditionally associated with protection, emotional calm and positive, practical thinking.
