About the stone

Garnet is the birthstone for January and the horoscope stone for Scorpio. Its name comes from the Latin granatum (“seed”), inspired by the red seeds of the pomegranate.

Used since the Bronze Age, garnet has long been valued as a gemstone and talisman. It symbolises commitment, love and lasting friendship, and is believed to inspire courage, emotional balance and strength in difficult times.
