About the stone:
Keshi Pearls are primarily found in the waters of Japan and French Polynesia, although as they are a by-product of cultured Pearls, they can also be discovered in other regions like Australia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
Pearls are a favourite for weddings due to the symbolism of innocence, love and purity. An old legend depicts the beginning of pearls as dew drops filled with moonlight falling into the ocean and then being swallowed by oysters. The earliest record of Pearls date back to 2300 BC in ancient China, where they were celebrated as symbols of wealth and status.
Pearl is the traditional stone for 30th wedding anniversary. It is also the horoscope stone for Cancer.
