About the stones

Smoky Quartz is the horoscope stone for Libra and Capricorn and is also the National Gem of Scotland. Traditionally regarded as a protective stone, it is associated with emotional calmness, stress relief and positive, practical thinking. 

Amethyst is the birthstone for February and the horoscope stone for Pisces. Its name comes from the Greek amethystos, meaning “not drunken,” as it was once believed to protect against intoxication.
